katie jean is about renewing the older things that we love, and giving them new life and new meaning.  It means holding onto the things from our childhood that made us feel good (paper dolls for me), and bringing these memories into our grown up world and passing them onto those around us that we love.  katie jean is about remembering to have fun, to take an adventure, and to be girly.

katie jean finds vintage pieces of fabrics, ribbons, and papers and remakes them to be used anew.  And occasionaly, I find a new item that just looks vintage. Whether for your home, family, or gift for a special (and lucky) friend,  all pieces are vintage or vintage inspired and entirely handmade by me in my Lincoln, California home studio, also known as the kitchen table.
